About this role

As our Senior Content Strategist you’ll fuel creative ideation, strategy and execution for branded and editorial campaigns, acting as a visible, trusted partner to major clients and agencies.

Your work will elevate the visibility and impact of Reach’s commercial video proposition across social platforms.

Relationshipbuilding will be central: you’ll nurture senior partnerships with clientside video influencers and inhouse teams to grow direct video revenue.

Using data and insights to steer creative choices, test and learn, and optimise for reach, retention and engagement. Day to day, you’ll collaborate closely with commercial, production, editorial, marketing and insight colleagues, communicating creative thinking and technical execution clearly to clients and stakeholders.

You’ll shape clear, compelling narratives that bring our platform strengths and audience insight to life in social video.

From topline briefs, you’ll help lead ideation with Reach Studio, knowing when to use content creators, influencers or talent and how to brief each for maximum impact and you’ll champion fresh formats and new content strands across the business.

You’ll keep a sharp eye on Gen Z culture, internet trends and viral moments, spotting timely, reactive opportunities and moving quickly to capitalise on them. On production, you’ll roll up your sleeves on location and inoffice shoots, give edit feedback, and protect the integrity of the original idea through to final delivery.

What you’ll need to succeed:

You’re a cross‑functional content strategist who partners seamlessly with Design, Sales, Editorial, Commercial, Clients and Agencies to turn business goals into platform‑smart work.

You have a proven track record of creating editorial and branded social and video content, and of delivering engaging, end‑to‑end cross‑platform campaigns.

Native to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Snap, you know formats, trends and audience behaviours, and you tailor ideas accordingly. You’re strong on creative ideation, crisp copywriting and scripting for both short‑form vertical and longer‑form video, with an eye for visual storytelling that drives retention.

You use audience insights and performance data to inform strategy and optimise against watch time. You can identify, pitch and brief the right creators, keep stakeholders aligned, and manage approvals smoothly.

Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively, you stay organised and communicate clearly. You’re culturally tuned‑in to youth culture, internet trends, pop culture and social good, with a track record of shipping on‑brand, measurable, impactful content.
