Paula’s Choice, a global skincare leader founded in 1995, empowers individuals to define beauty on their own terms through science-backed products. Our mission comes to life through four core values that guide our actions, decisions, and impact:

  • Build Trust: We set the standard for skincare, transparency, and shared knowledge.
  • Be Bold: We lead through innovation and by challenging the status quo.
  • Act with Kindness: We operate with respect and care—for our customers, colleagues, and the planet.
  • Create Community: We believe in the power of connection—whether educating customers, supporting each other, or giving back, we grow stronger together.

Our team spans North America, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, and the broader APAC region, collaborating globally to drive innovation. We offer space to thrive—personally, professionally, and through our comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being at every stage:

  • Generous paid time off, including time off to volunteer
  • Learning and development resources to support personal and professional growth
  • Wellness benefits like meditation app memberships, product discounts, and free samples of our amazing products
  • Most roles are fully remote (roles that are required to be at our Seattle HQ can be found in the details section of this job post)
  • Great location – for roles that are hybrid or fully onsite, we’re in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District
  • Did we mention we’re a dog-friendly office?

Our culture encourages continuous learning and is fueled by connection, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration. Whether onsite, remote, or hybrid, we stay connected through shared initiatives that bring our teams together. If you’re inspired by transparency, driven to make an impact, and eager to help foster community—we’d love to have you join us.

How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:

As the Creative Project Manager & Producer, you’ll play a pivotal dual role in owning both the operational execution of brand promotions & campaigns and the end-to-end production of photoshoot & video shoots. You’ll be responsible for managing creative workflows, leading project timelines, and bringing visual content to life through studio and lifestyle shoots. You will drive operational excellence and accountability across the organization, leading high-impact cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and aligned with company goals. This role is essential to scaling our project management engine and driving operational excellence. It’s perfect for someone who’s passionate about storytelling in the beauty and skincare space—and equally at home managing timelines as they are on a shoot set.

As a Senior Project Manager & Producer, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

Creative Project Management

  • Lead multiple concurrent campaigns, including new product launches, seasonal collections, digital assets, email/social campaigns, and ecommerce updates
  • Translate creative briefs into clear scopes, timelines, and deliverables using PM tools like Asana, Airtable, or Smartsheet
  • Drive project kickoffs, milestone reviews, approvals, and delivery across creative and marketing teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, ecommerce, product development, and external vendors to ensure creative alignment with brand objectives
  • Own weekly reporting, status updates, and flag risks or blockers early

Photoshoot Production (Editorial, Product, Lifestyle)

  • Produce photo and video shoots from concept to completion (in-studio and on-location)
  • Manage casting and coordinate with talent agencies to ensure inclusivity and representation that aligns with brand values
  • Oversee pre-production planning: call sheets, schedules, creative decks, shot lists, crew hiring, equipment booking, and studio/location logistics
  • Lead on-set operations to ensure smooth execution, creative integrity, and efficiency
  • Manage post-production workflows including file handoffs, image selections, retouching, and asset delivery

Budget & Vendor Oversight

  • Build and manage production and creative budgets; track spend and reconcile invoices
  • Vet and manage external partners, including stylists, photographers, production vendors, and retouchers
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain clear usage rights, licensing, and release documentation

Tool & Workflow Optimization

  • Leverage project management software to increase transparency across creative deliverables
  • Own digital asset organization, file versioning, and content management systems (e.g., Dropbox, Airtable)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of creative operations and production processes

The Details:

  • Location: Seattle, WA based. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work onsite at our downtown Seattle office 2–3 days per week.
  • Hours: Typical PST Business Hours, some flexibility
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in creative project management and/or photo production within the beauty, skincare, or lifestyle industries
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale project portfolios from concept to launch with full accountability for scope, time, and budget
  • Deep understanding of content needs across ecommerce, social, retail, and influencer platforms
  • Hands-on production expertise with both product and talent shoots
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including vendors, agencies, and freelancers
  • Experience using tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Airtable, Dropbox, Adobe Creative Suite, and Capture One
  • Passion for the beauty/skincare industry and a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and process
