Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full time, Salary, Exempt

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
We are on the lookout for a highly strategic support role who excels in collaboration and is pivotal in driving team success through tactical training and hiring. In this role, you'll be instrumental in orchestrating seamless onboarding experiences and designing impactful training programs that elevate team performance. Your expertise will be crucial in refining hiring processes to attract and nurture top talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. As you streamline operations, ensure compliance, and oversee financial responsibilities, you'll also be the heart of communication within the team.

YOU SHOULD HAVE
 
  • 7-10+ years in event management with 3+ years in team or operations leadership. 
  • A passion for inclusive, growth-focused team culture and accountability. 
  • Experience refining hiring processes, coordinating interviews, and partnering with Talent Acquisition. 
  • Skilled in developing tailored onboarding and training programs, including documentation, SOPs, and playbooks. 
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop talent, build career paths, and foster retention and high performance. 
  • Adept at internal communications, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and feedback mechanisms. 
  • Experienced in resource planning, team coordination, budgeting, and tracking freelance and internal costs. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Lead hiring strategy and execution in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, ensuring roles are aligned with culture and business needs. 
  • Oversee onboarding to create a smooth, engaging experience for new hires, introducing them to culture and workflows. 
  • Design and implement training for event professionals, focusing on leadership, skills development, and compliance. 
  • Partner with Centralized Resourcing on staffing and resource allocation to support delivery teams. 
  • Support the Sr Director, Event Management Operations on performance, manager enablement, culture, retention, and early career programs. 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  
May manage 5-10 direct reports within Event Management, ranging from Event Managers to Directors.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU 
 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $112,000 and $125,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
