DoD SkillBridge Internship: Service Coordinator (471936)
SkillBridge Host Company: Siemens
SkillBridge Provider: Vets2PM LLC
Location: Remote (Per DoD SkillBridge Guidelines)

*This internship is a minimum of 3 months (4 months+ preferred).

      This opportunity is unique to activeduty US Military Service members with formal approval to participate as a SkillBridge Intern in collaboration with Vets2PM’s authorized DOD SkillBridge program.

      You will gain handson experience during your internship and will have the opportunity to join (upon successful completion of the internship) one of the worlds leading technology companies.

      Our Main Business Group that you will be assigned to:

      • FireLife Safety: Fire Alarm, MassEmergency Communication, and SprinklerSuppression

        • Responsibilities and learning experiences include but are not limited to:

          • Answer calls from customers, determine customer needs, and coordinate required services that help customers to reach their business and facility goals
          • Handle call scheduling and dispatching for preventive maintenance, oncall service, service projects, and parts orders
          • Responsible for submitting invoices to the billing department
          • Work in a remotebased environment to complete assigned tasks and collaborate with team members

                • You’ll make an immediate impact by having the following qualifications:

                  Basic Qualifications:

                  • Only active military personnel will be considered for this internship and program acceptance requires military approval:
                    • Selected candidates will continue to be paid under their current wagebenefits provided by the US Military and will not be paid by Siemens directly throughout internship participation
                      • High school diploma or staterecognized GED
                      • Demonstrated experience andor applied knowledgeaptitude in the following:
                        • Experience in supporting administration, planning, logistics and other similar tasks
                        • Experience managing electronic records, documents and files via software systems
                        • Ability to work in a remote environment and effectively communicate (verbal & written)collaborate with teams
                        • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
                          • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
                          • Must be 18 years of age

                            • Preferred Qualifications:
                              • Familiarity or experience with engineering HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security systems
                              • Reading and understanding customer service contracts

                                      Not all internships include certification training by Vets2PM, as many host companies include their own internshipfocused training instead. If selected for an internship with Vets2PM please read your approval email, letter, and training plan to be sure you understand what is included in your internship.
