This is a remote position.
We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations.
Advise clients on M&A transactions including structuring, due diligence, contract drafting, negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
Draft and review transactional documents such as share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and NDAs.
Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence processes, identifying legal risks and advising on mitigation strategies.
Support clients through all phases of M&A, including postmerger integration.
Liaise with tax, financial, and operational consultants to ensure smooth transaction execution.
Stay informed on changes in Australian corporate law, particularly those affecting M&A activity.
Collaborate with internal and clientside legal and corporate teams across time zones.
Undergraduate degree in Law and qualification to practice law is mandatory; Australian legal education or direct experience working with Australian M&A matters is strongly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of handson experience with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and related corporate transactions.
Expertise in Australian corporate law, M&A processes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and project management abilities, especially in virtual and crossfunctional environments.
Prior experience in crossborder M&A or remote legal support settings is a plus.
