We are seeking a curious and growth-minded individual to join our team as Compliance Professional 2. In this role, you will support our efforts to improve compliance processes and oversight by assisting with project management, process optimization, project documentation, and crafting compelling narratives for each project. The work assignments for the Compliance Professional 2 position are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of appropriate courses of action.

Our team: We are the Compliance Oversight and Program Advancement team, and our mission is to ensure the highest standards of compliance through continuous process improvement and leveraging advanced technologies. Our team is largely project-based, and we partner closely with other teams in Regulatory Compliance to identify, develop, and deliver new processes and technologies with the goal of improved efficiency, oversight, and control of key risks.

Position overview: We are looking for a curious and growth-minded individual to join our team as Compliance Professional 2. In this role, you will support our efforts to improve compliance processes and oversight by assisting with project management, process optimization, project documentation, and crafting compelling narratives for each project.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure the successful completion of Compliance Advancement activities
  • Assist in the adoption and utilization of new processes through the development of process documentation, Power Point slides, and training documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities within Regulatory Compliance
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for leadership, highlighting key achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Support the implementation of strategies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance standards
  • Coordinate compliance-related meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented improvements and iterating as necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to provide support and training on new processes and technologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years’ experience in a related role
  • Minimum of 2 or more years of demonstrated history of project management and process improvement experience
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Excel, MS Project, MS Planner)
  • Experience managing multiple projects with differing stakeholders
  • Crafting compelling and engaging PowerPoints for various levels of leadership
  • Basic understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and framework

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate or advanced degree
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience developing Power BI solutions
  • Experience in healthcare

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
