Proof of work The team
The Pro team is responsible for everything to do with the trading backend services such as the matching engine, market data gateways, internal and external APIs, and various other trading services. The team is located globally and responsibilities are split into subteams, working with various tech stacks. Our teams code in Rust and work agile around the globe. Recently, the team played a critical role in scaling Krakens trading infrastructure.

Write reusable, testable, and highly efficient code
Collaborate on large scale distributed systems architecture
Work side by side with hundreds of experienced Rust engineers
Skills you should HODL7+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiently in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust
Have a securityfirst mindset during system design to ensure robustness
Demonstrate the ability to autonomously debug issues across the stack (OS, network, application)
Collaborate effectively with product teams to gather requirements and constraints for designing appropriate systems
Take complete endtoend ownership of systems and libraries
Pragmatic and solutionoriented, stoic in the face of many obstacles
Proactively adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and apply innovative solutions to dynamic challenges, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a fastpaced development environment
