About BigHand

BigHand offers technology solutions for busy legal professionals that provide data and insights to increase value and profits. Through our expert knowledge and innovative technology, we enable our customers to achieve enhanced efficiency, better decisionmaking and harness their competitive edge.

We build with tomorrow in mind, transforming ideas into action and empowering our customers to succeed in a world of constant change. We make big happen for our customers.

We are a business driven by our values and have these at the centre of everything we do. Our BigHanders are dedicated to building a culture where We Win Together, We Love to Learn, We Do the Right Thing, We Own It and We Find the Fun.

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager at BigHand, you will lead the strategic direction and lifecycle management of enterprise B2B software products within a broader suite. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, customer empathy, data fluency, and strong execution capabilities. You’ll work across both emerging and mature products, guiding them from early discovery through to endoflife decisions where appropriate.

You will be responsible for ensuring product strategy is aligned to BigHand’s broader company strategy and commercial objectives. You’ll also need to be comfortable working with a range of data sources—from revenue performance to user behavior to qualitative feedback—to support hypotheses, validate direction, and shape product decisions.

You’ll need to be skilled at engaging deeply with clients to uncover needs and understand business context quickly, whether in the legal sector or across other professional services. Comfort with transitions—whether its cloud adoption, platform evolution, or moving clients between products—is helpful, as many of our customers are at different stages of technical readiness and adoption.

This is a leadership role where you’ll work crossfunctionally with, engineering, sales, marketing, design and client success teams to ensure the product vision is understood, the strategy is clear, and initiatives stay aligned. While you will be partnered with a Product Owner to help manage the backlog and delivery processes, you are ultimately accountable for ensuring your product delivers meaningful business and customer outcomes.

      What you’ll do

      Product Leadership & Strategy

      • Own the product lifecycle across a portfolio of enterprise B2B products, from earlystage discovery to maturity and sunsetting.
      • Define a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with both company strategy and evolving market conditions.
      • Evaluate opportunities for innovation, reinvestment, or rationalization within your product area.
      • Lead initiatives that span multiple functions and teams, keeping stakeholders aligned, motivated, and focused on outcomes.
        • Client Insight & Market Understanding

          • Develop a deep understanding of both users and buyers, ensuring product decisions support both audiences.
          • Build relationships with a diverse range of clients, adapting quickly to their specific language, processes, and pain points.
          • Engage with client executive teams, operational boards, and user stakeholders to inform product strategy and advocacy.
          • Leverage your experience with clients in transition, whether technical, operational, or organizational, to support adoption and ongoing value.
            • Discovery & User Research

              • Proactively design and lead product discovery activities to validate assumptions, inform direction, and reduce risk.
              • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market dynamics, trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
              • Address data gaps or inconclusive insights by structuring effective user outreach, interviews, and testing.
              • Confidently manage ambiguity and move initiatives forward through progressive derisking and insight generation.
                • Data Analysis & Insight

                  • Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and market data to shape product direction.
                  • Review and interpret revenue metrics and adoption trends to support prioritization and investment decisions.
                  • Use data to support business cases, articulate ROI, and track success against product and company goals.
                    • CrossFunctional Execution & Communication

                      • Partner with a dedicated Product Owner to ensure the backlog is aligned with strategic goals and delivery plans.
                      • Work closely with engineering, design, client success, sales, and marketing to align on priorities, execution, and gotomarket readiness.
                      • Lead crossfunctional initiatives with clarity and purpose, ensuring teams understand what success looks like and why it matters.
                      • Communicate proactively and effectively to ensure all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned to the desired outcomes.
                        • What we’re looking for
                          • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on enterprise B2B software.
                          • Proven ability to manage both new and mature products across their full lifecycle.
                          • Experience aligning product strategy to broader company and commercial goals.
                          • Comfortable analyzing product usage data, revenue trends, and customer feedback to shape strategy.
                          • Experience working directly with clients, particularly in complex or technical environments where adoption varies.
                          • Ability to design and lead discovery and user research efforts without relying on a centralized research team.
                          • Confident and engaging presenter with experience communicating with executive buyers, boards, and external audiences.
                          • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of keeping teams focused, motivated, and aligned.
                          • Deep understanding of the distinctions between user and buyer needs and how to represent both in decisionmaking.
                                • What we offer
                                  • 15 days holiday per year (exc. public holidays) + 2 personal days to take for anything you like!
