Description

Promptcare is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic data team. This role will play a key part in delivering clean, reliable, and well-structured data sets to support company-wide decision-making. Under the guidance of the Senior Analytics Engineer, the Analytics Engineer will be responsible for transforming, testing, and documenting data processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensuring that critical information is organized, accessible, and optimized for analytical use.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing one)
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related discipline
  •  Candidates must be highly skilled in SQL for querying and manipulating datasets
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts, with hands-on experience using tools such as Snowflake and dbt
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Tableau (or similar platforms)
  • Experience using Python for data transformation, automation, and workflow optimization
  • Strong interest in working with data and solving challenges related to data quality, accessibility, and usability
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies and best practices in the data engineering space
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and a drive to continuously improve data processes and systems


Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

Data Transformation:

  • Clean, normalize, and aggregate raw data from various sources.
  • Develop scripts (in SQL, Python, or similar) to automate data transformation tasks.

Data Modeling:

  • Design and implement scalable data models that support business questions and analysis.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Implement basic testing procedures to check data consistency and identify potential errors.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards.

Documentation:

  • Clean, normalize, and aggregate raw data from various sources.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with analysts, engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.

Data Visualization Support:

  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to support business decisions.
