Information Technology – Remote (U.S. Based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Cloud Data & Integration Developer to design and implement cloud and on-premises data stores as well as data integration and business intelligence solutions for the enterprise. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Experience with cloud and on-premises database platforms
Strong experience with ANSI standard SQL
Familiarity with MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Strong understanding of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Hands-on experience with data warehouse architecture, relational data architecture, ETL/ELT, and business requirements gathering and analysis
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards and products as required
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s non-profit Christian mission

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban)
Familiarity with test-driven development practices
Working knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
