Job description

About the roles

We have two Permanent, Full-Time HC/MC Driver positions based at our Kewdale Depot:

  • PM Shift Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 10:30pm

            Hourly rate: $36.38 + 17.5% afternoon shift loading

  • Night Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:00am

Hourly rate: $36.38 + 30% night shift loading

Please note: All candidates will need to be available for occasional weekend work as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • HC licence a must (MC licence highly desirable)

  • Dangerous Goods (DG) licence – essential

  • Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation – required

  • Experience in handling dangerous goods – desirable

  • Proven experience with strapping, load restraint, chains, and dunnage/tyre straps

  • Understanding of loading principles and the Load Restraint Guide

  • Current Commercial Vehicle Driver Medical Certificate

  • Sound knowledge of the Road Traffic Act for heavy vehicles

  • Good geographical knowledge of the state’s metropolitan area

  • High attention to safety and compliance

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Customer-focused approach (internal and external)

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Full working rights
