Job description

The role of the People & Culture Generalist is responsible for providing supporting to internal stakeholders by rendering HR expert advice in areas related to ER/IR, disciplinary management procedure and other related employee governance. The person will act as the main POC for Mid-Shift and Night-Shift teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as main People & Culture Business Partner for the employees  across the organization.
  • Maintain regular interaction with team members, team leaders and managers during the assigned work shift to be the POC to support/assist on their specific HR needs
  • Provide guidance and advise employees and line managers on best HR practice and  Company policies and procedures.
  • Focus Support for Employee Relations and advisory matters on DUE process, including disciplinary action/non-compliances (i.e. attendance, NCNS, Privacy), employee grievances and PIP. This includes attending meetings and taking the lead where appropriate.
  • Conducts learning session with People Managers/Employees for refresher courses, launch or roadshow.
  • As P&C Business Partner , will take on projects/opportunity for improvement related to Human Resources or to the Department of Labor and Employment  business transactions.
  • Conducts HR touchpoint sessions such as Focus Group Discussion, Skip Level Meeting and HR Forum.
  • Facilitate exit interviews and gather data analysis related to attrition for mid-shift and night shift teams

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: 
•            Preferably a graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, or other related courses and discipline.

Experience:
•            5 years relevant experience in the HR Business Partnership/Generalist role

•            Strong writing and verbal communication skills
•            ‘Customer First’ mindset
•            Proficiency in MS Office
•            Strong analytical skills
•            Attention to detail
•            Adaptable/flexible; able to manage competing demands and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, accept and handle regular interruptions, and manage/meet tight deadlines.

•            Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
•            Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
•            Completes work on time while maintaining accuracy and quality of output.

•            A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

•            Familiar with basic employment regulations.
•            Strong experience with Workday system.
•            Primarily remote work, with occasional onsite reporting as needed
•            Mid shift, may vary depending on business requirements
