Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Summary:

Join a collaborative and fast-paced U.S. finance team where innovation and continuous improvement are valued. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to oversee complex AP processes, ensure timely and accurate payments, maintain compliance, and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of AP operations, preferably with S/4 HANA  (SAP).

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

  • Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations
  • Review of high-value, complex vendors and invoices
  • Prepare, analyze, and present accounts payable aging reports
  • Reconciliation of credit cards

Compliance & Issue Resolution

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues with vendors and internal departments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and U.S. tax regulations (e.g., 1099 reporting)
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOX) to support consistency and knowledge sharing

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with Procurement to resolve issues with non-PO invoices or funding gaps
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within SAP
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with S/4HANA, SAP Concur, or other AP automation tools
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with shared services or centralized AP environments.
  • Knowledge of international AP processes is a plus.

The Compensation range for this role is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.

Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors:

  • Location-based market rate for the role

  • Your abilities in relation to the job specification

  • Performance during screening and interview

  • Pay parity with the wider team in the considered location
