Join Our Team  

The FP&A Analyst will be a key member of the FP&A team.  The successful candidate for this role will exhibit strong technical aptitude and attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, a proactive and inquisitive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.  You will report to the Expense Director, Finance FP&A.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare quarterly financial reports with a focus on segment operating results and the quarterly income statement.
  • Perform variance and trend analysis; communicate results effectively to management and stakeholders.
  • Update the quarterly financial results deck (in PowerPoint/W-Desk) with accurate numbers and concise, effective commentary.
  • Support critical financial reporting processes, including Investor Relations presentation and MD&A, with data, analysis, and review.
  • Develop and maintain thorough process documentation; identify areas for process improvements.
  • Support FP&A leadership with ad hoc analyses and special projects

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years in financial reporting roles.  (Re)insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.  Experience with PowerBI, data marts, and/or ERP systems is a plus.
  • A keen focus on accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset – a willingness to ask questions and a desire to continually improve.
  • Ability and willingness to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across function and level of seniority.

 

SALARY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 per year to $125,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only.  In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
