Job description

The Senior FPA Analyst at Team Global Express is responsible for driving the Financial Performance & Analysis function including capital of the organisation and delivering timely and insightful analysis to support decision making for the various stakeholders.

Acting as a key business partner to the Group Finance Function, this position will work with the finance team to understand business performance, support with period reporting requirements, and to
participate in various projects including continuous performance related initiatives

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop budget and forecast methodologies that challenge the finance community to derive optimum
    commercial outcomes.

  • Preparation of the quarterly forecast process for the company

  • Annual budget consolidation for the whole company, including preparation of Cash Flow, Balance
    Sheet and covenants and providing strong insight analysis focusing on business drivers
    Quarterly forecast consolidation including preparation of Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and covenants

  • Supporting Treasury scenarios, Cashflow and covenants

  • Consolidation of Capex and Investment plan including analysis of month end vs. budget/forecast
    which provide insights and guidance for decision-making

  • Provide monthly results analysis with sound commercial commentaries aimed at senior internal and
    external stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

We’re seeking someone who brings a mix of skills, experience, and passion. Here’s what will set you up for success:

  • Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce with Finance / Accounting focus

  • Registered CA / CPA Minimum of 7 years’ experience in similar roles within large organisations or from audit.

  • Strong analytical skills and Ability to simplify and automate processes

  • Ability to work through various systems (source systems) to ERPs (Oracle) and reporting tools (TM1,

  • Power BI, Oracle analytics) and strong command in MS Excel and Power Point

  • Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks and drive actions across team.

  • Good technical financial accounting knowledge in preparation of cash flows
