Job description

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of various sales analysis reports. This role requires proficiency in NSPB (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting) and a deep understanding of financial metrics, as well as the ability to analyse and communicate financial data to support strategic decision-making.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the end-to-end sales planning process using NSPB (NetSuite Planning and Budgeting), including creating, updating, and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to provide insights into key business drivers and trends.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports by salesmen and division, including Budgets vs Forecasts vs Actual by area, by location, by profit centre, by brand, by salesmen, and other segments.
  • Monitor variances between actual results, forecasts, and budgets, identifying and highlighting key drivers of deviations.
  • Prepare the monthly and quarterly incentive reports by salesmen, and submit the final report to the accounting for processing.
  • Monitor the monthly achievements of salesmen and communicate with them and the division supervisor accordingly.
  • Keep track of the newly released and updated incentive scheme, to adjust and update the incentive reports accordingly.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create detailed sales budget templates and drivers that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain sales financial models to support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and long-term financial projections.
  • Maintain accurate and updated information regarding the sales forecasted data on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to optimize the functionality and reporting capabilities of the NSPB system.
