Role Name: Appointment Setter

Schedule:

  • Fulltime, 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern with an hour unpaid break

      Job Description

      Step into a pivotal role as an Appointment Setter where you’ll bridge the gap between marketing efforts and sales success in the professional speaking industry. You’ll work with a sophisticated lead nurturing system, connecting with prospects who have already shown interest through email engagement while also reaching out to new potential clients. This position offers the perfect blend of structure and autonomy you’ll have proven scripts and processes to guide you, but the freedom to engage in natural, consultative conversations. As an integral team member, you’ll receive comprehensive training about the business, participate in regular team meetings, and have direct access to leadership. With performancebased incentives on top of your competitive hourly rate, this role rewards both consistency and results while contributing to meaningful business growth. This role includes performancebased bonuses.

      Responsibilities:

      • Conduct outbound calls to prospects who have engaged with email marketing campaigns but haven’t yet booked appointments
      • Make cold outreach calls to new prospects to introduce the company’s speaking and training services
      • Follow provided scripts while maintaining ability to engage in natural, conversational dialogue
      • Ask qualifying questions to determine prospect needs (employee events, staff training requirements)
      • Schedule 15minute introductory calls between qualified prospects and the business owner
      • Update CRM system with detailed notes and call outcomes for proper tracking
      • Participate in regular team calls to stay informed about business developments and services
      • Maintain momentum by focusing on dial activity throughout the workday
        • Requirements:

          • Proven experience in appointment setting with a track record of success
          • Strong conversational skills with ability to engage prospects naturally without sounding robotic
          • Experience using CRM systems for tracking and documentation
          • Ability to follow scripts while adapting to conversation flow as needed
          • Serviceoriented mindset suitable for relationshipbased business development
          • Comfortable with persuasive conversation techniques without hardsell approaches
          • Selfmotivated with ability to maintain dial momentum throughout the day
