We are seeking a motivated Release Train Engineer (RTE) to guide and orchestrate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) across complex, global cross-functional teams. In this role, you will enable smooth program execution, strategic alignment, and continuous delivery of value through proven Agile leadership within our digital transformation journey.

What You Will Do

  • Own and coordinate the end-to-end execution of the Agile Release Train, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Facilitate core Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Collaborate with product owners, leadership, and stakeholders to align program backlogs and roadmaps with business priorities.
  • Drive Agile process adherence, supporting teams in SAFe practices and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve impediments and risks affecting program delivery.
  • Promote transparency and alignment through regular communication and program-level reporting.

  • Master scaling Agile frameworks in a global aerospace environment with large, distributed teams.
  • Deepen your expertise in SAFe Agile practices, Agile Release Train orchestration, and Lean-Agile leadership.

  • Explore emerging technologies such as Cloud/SaaS, Internet of Things (IoT), Analytics, and Cybersecurity.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • Advanced degree with 8+ years of experience, OR without a degree, 12+ years of relevant experience in Agile or project management roles.
  • Proven experience leading Agile Release Trains or managing large-scale Agile programs.
  • Strong understanding and application of SAFe Agile principles and ceremonies.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with diverse teams and leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, manage risks, and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • SAFe Agile certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Prior project management experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology environments.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing tools, engineering data systems, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with digital industry trends including Cloud/SaaS, IoT, Analytics, and Security/Risk Management.
  • Experience working across multiple time zones and flexibility with working shifts as needed.
