Summary
The Diabetes Sales Representative will be responsible for driving the sale and promotion of Vanigent products in a distinct territory. This opportunity partners with a toptier pharmaceutical company promoting their products. While reporting to the Vanigent District Sales Manager, the Diabetes Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering aligned sales performance through the execution of effective sales engagements with targeted customers.


Essential Functions

  • Perform all required duties in assigned territory in accordance with allotted expectations, promoting aligned products within the Diabetes selling team
  • Adhere to all internal policies and procedures and PhRMA code consistently
  • Meet or exceed established expectations for account call activity and time in territory
  • Proactively decide on activities, educational programs as well as HQapproved resources needed to effectively pull through the identified sales opportunities with targeted customers and other key stakeholders in territoryaccounts
  • Analyze sales information and recommend actions to maximize opportunities aligned to brand strategy
  • Create customer value, demand, and advocacy for Diabetes brand
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision makers in account to execute business unitbrand strategy
  • Within an assigned territory, utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience which includes physicians, healthcare providers and healthcare clinic personnel
  • Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
  • Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures

    • Minimum Required Education & Skills:

      Along with a resultsoriented mindset, selfassurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

      • BABS Degree required
      • Businesstobusiness sales experience or early career with internship experience andor sales degree is highly preferred
      • Documented history and proven track record of sales success
      • Valid drivers license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights andor weekends
      • Must pass a background check and drug screening
      • Exceptional communication skills
      • Analytical capability
      • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
