• THE ROLE

  We are currently seeking a bilingual finance or accounting assistant to join our clientfacing team.

  You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:

  • Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.
  • Prepare balance sheets.
  • Track and reconcile bank statements.
  • Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs).
  • Process tax payments.
  • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
  • Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • C1C2 English and Spanish writing and speaking skills.
    • 1 to 5 years of experience as a finance or accounting assistant or similar role, preferably remote.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • A quiet home office with a desk and office chair.
    • Stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed.
    • A laptopdesktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free harddrive space, a headset, and a smartphone.
    • Access to a backup place of work in case they suffer a power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, Multibam, WiPod, etc.)
