Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Workday Recruiting Contractor to be the Workday lead on our Workday Recruiting implementation from start to finish, including post-go-live production support. This role requires hands-on expertise with Workday Recruiting implementation and practical usage as a recruiting system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Workday Lead to assist the Project Manager and Consultants with completing the Workday Recruiting implementation project
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular status updates
  • Configure recruiting workflows, approval processes, and business rules
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans
  • Research best practices and recommend process improvements
  • Pull and analyze recruiting data as needed
  • Create reports, dashboards, and system documentation
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer
  • Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years hands-on Workday Recruiting experience
  • Proven track record of at least one full Workday Recruiting implementation
  • Previous experience using Workday Recruiting as an active recruiting system
  • Strong understanding of recruiting workflows, candidate management, and requisition processes
  • Experience with Workday reporting tools and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Recruiting certification
  • Experience with other Workday modules (HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Talent/Perf Management, Learning, etc.)
  • Background in HRIS, HR operations, or Talent Acquisition

Project Scope

Contract/consultant position supporting full Workday Recruiting implementation from planning through post-go-live support, with expectation of ongoing production support following successful implementation.
