About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of our AI and CAD based digital shade and color design systems—these are novel, industryfirst capabilities to be used by internal dental designers and customers to customize the shade and color of restorative products for Dandy’s customers. This is a PrincipalDirectorlevel role, ideal for a product leader who thrives in fastpaced, collaborative environments and wants to shape the future of how dentistry is designed and delivered digitally.

You will own a foundational piece of our technology platform, working at the intersection of CAD, ML, and human expertise. This isn’t just about iterating on the status quo—it’s about building the systems that will define what digital dental design looks like in the years to come.


What Youll Do

Product development at Dandy is a collaborative, highimpact function. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between design, engineering, operations, and business leadership to drive both strategy and execution.

  • Define and execute the product vision for our shade design systems, setting a longterm direction aligned with company priorities and customer needs.

  • Partner with CAD, ML, and fullstack engineering teams to deliver scalable, highperformance tools that enable accurate, fast, and intuitive shade design.

  • Build a novel system in coordination with our automated manufacturing team

  • Deeply understand user workflows—especially those of internal designers—and translate complex needs into clear, actionable product requirements.

  • Conduct customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to inform roadmap decisions and identify opportunities to innovate.

  • Drive crossfunctional alignment and decisionmaking across stakeholders, ensuring transparency, clarity, and momentum on key initiatives.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration, in a highly agile and collaborative environment.

  • Use data and qualitative insights to measure impact, communicate results, and continuously refine the product direction.

  • Interface with thirdparty vendors and partners as needed to evaluate and integrate complementary technologies.

    • What Were Looking For

      We’re looking for creative and curious product thinkers who can develop and grow a compelling vision for Dandys products. We seek an experienced Principal Product Manager accustomed to working in a hypergrowth, customer obsessed organization.

      • 8+ years of experience in product management, managing software products through the full lifecycle from MVP to general release and subsequent iterations

      • Experience building 3D and or CAD design systems. Bonus points if its 01

      • High biastoaction. You regularly knock down barriers and get things done, quickly.

      • Ability to drive alignment across many crossfunctional stakeholders.

      • Technical competence and comfortlevel. You can discuss APIs and services with the engineering team (but you don’t need to be able to code).

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

      • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

      • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.

      • Proven ability to think strategically, develop product roadmaps, and execute against them to deliver impactful results.

          • Experience at an operationallyintensive company

          • Comfort with writing SQL queries.

          • Previous experience in the dental or medical industries.

          • Previous experience partnering closely with an Engineering Leader, andor working as a software engineer
