BH Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States, along with investments in distressed debt and ground leases.  The Company is vertically integrated, with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Riverside, Phoenix, Dallas, and Houston, and is able to acquire and close transactions without the need for lengthy due diligence periods.  Our 30-year track-record and balance sheet allow us to move quickly and creatively, structuring acquisitions to satisfy seller needs in a highly competitive market.  Today, the Company owns and operates approximately 10M square feet across 18 states.
 

LOCATION AND WORK HOURS

The Credit Analyst will report to the Senior Managing Director, Finance. This position will work remotely from the Philippines the during standard US Pacific Time business hours.


RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess client creditworthiness.
  • Prepare detailed credit analyses and risk assessments for new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to structure deals that align with company risk tolerance.
  • Monitor client portfolios and identify potential credit risks or deteriorating financial conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations and decisions.
  • Recommend credit limits and terms based on risk analysis.
  • Stay current with industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
  • Support underwriting processes for property acquisitions, leases, and financing arrangements.


QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Graduated cum laude or better from university is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with credit scoring systems and risk assessment tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
