Join Our Team as a Tax Specialist!

Are you a skilled Tax Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to ensure compliance, optimize tax strategies, and support our organization's growth.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Research tax laws, develop strategies, prepare and review tax returns, and monitor changes.
  • Tax Reporting and Documentation: Prepare accurate reports, collaborate with teams, and maintain documentation.
  • Indirect Tax: Handle indirect tax treatment, propose Avalara tax codes, and manage VAT, GST, PST filings.
  • Corporate Tax: Analyze book-to-tax differences, prepare forecasts, calculate payments, document issues, and assist with transfer pricing.
  • Tax Audit Support: Manage audits, provide documentation, and resolve inquiries.
  • Tax Advisory and Risk Management: Identify risks and opportunities, collaborate on business decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Streamline processes, stay updated with tax technologies, and pursue professional development
     

 Required:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate or indirect tax.
  • Strong tax research and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and tax documentation.
  • High attention to detail and professionalism.


Preferred:

  • Master’s degree (MBA, Accounting, or Finance).
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with tax software and ASC 740.

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:

$59,800.00 - $95,700.00
