Service Team Manager – Mental Health Team

Remote Based

Permanent, Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

The Service Team manager Role will provide a high quality, safe and effective support to Bupa corporate customers.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Managing a team of Remote Counsellor/Psychotherapists

  • Leading, developing and motivate our front-line employees to deliver excellent service for our customers supported by review and coaching.

  • Supporting the culture of continuous improvement by reviewing demand, understanding customer’s needs and delivering process improvements.

  • Investigating remedial action if development plans/performance targets are not acted upon within agreed timescales, follow through to a fair and reasonable outcome for both the individual and Bupa.

  • Mentoring staff in new process or system development, delivering ad hoc 121 training thereby ensuring thorough understanding of best practice.

  • Maximising available resources through robust management of punctuality and absence, ensuring a consistent approach across the business unit.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Previous experience of managing front-line employees within a customer focused environment would be desirable.

  • Thorough product knowledge (internal only).

  • Experience of principles of continuous improvement/QMS

  • Ability to demonstrate customer led thinking.

  • Change Management.

  • Strong planning and time management is essential.
