Position is remote with needed ability to travel to/ from Columbus campus and throughout Ohio on an as-needed basis.
The Extension Coordinator 3 will support research and Extension-related activities of Dr. Arnold’s Extension program, which is housed in Family and Consumer Sciences (OSU Extension).
-Developing on-line food safety resources and training for consumers, producers, and food entrepreneurs
-Delivering food safety training to consumers, producers, and/or state educators as needed
-Writing and preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
-Managing grants and other Extension programs
-Preparing grant applications to secure funding to address ongoing food safety needs
-Other activities which support ongoing research and Extension programs and projects
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this profile is $16.65 - $21.77/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
