Job description

As a Channel Sales Engineer, East, you will support our commercial enterprise customers across the Eastern U.S. by partnering with Channel Partners and internal Account Teams. You’ll help design and deliver solutions that address complex cybersecurity challenges across a broad range of industries. This role combines technical pre-sales support, partner enablement, and solution architecture to drive channel-led growth in the region.

You’ll lead technical evaluations, deliver tailored demos, and train partner teams—ensuring Recorded Future is positioned to win across key enterprise accounts. This role requires strong cybersecurity expertise, technical depth, and the ability to align with partner go-to-market motions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Channel Account Managers to support and enable East Coast commercial Channel Partners (VARs, MSSPs, integrators, and tech alliances).
  • Engage with partners and customers to gather technical requirements and provide solution guidance.
  • Lead product evaluations, proof-of-value efforts, and technical integration planning.
  • Design solutions that align with partner strategies and customer outcomes across sectors like financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing.
  • Deliver compelling demos and presentations tailored to enterprise buyer personas.
  • Train partner presales and services teams on Recorded Future’s platform, integrations, and use cases.
  • Promote technical adoption across threat intel, SOC, risk, and security leadership functions.
  • Address analytical and operational challenges in complex enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Intelligence Services to optimize partner engagement and support.
  • Travel as needed across the Eastern U.S. (up to 50%).

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Consulting role—cybersecurity or threat intelligence preferred.
  • Experience working with or enabling commercial Channel Partners.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security ecosystems and buying cycles.
  • Familiarity with:
    • SIEM
    • DFIR
    • Threat Intelligence
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Security Operations
    • APIs and integrations
  • Proven ability to deliver demos, run POCs, and enable technical sales teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and business audiences.
  • Able to build credibility with partner engineers, CISOs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a high-performance environment.
