Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and IFRS adjustments.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and develop internal financial controls.

Job description and key responsibilities:

  • Working together with the finance team in month-end closing processes: reconciliations to ensure consistency and integrity of data, accruals computation, ICO reconciliations, recharging computation, IFRS adjustments;

  • Manage business re-charging scheme;

  • Collaborates with colleagues, work closely with the business, to understand business needs;

  • Participates/engages in inter-departmental projects carried out within the Company;

  • Shows promptness and fairness in communication with stakeholders (internal/external);

  • Perform analysis between statutory amounts and group amounts;

  • Monitoring P&L, Balance Sheet amounts, ensuring their correctness and fixes discrepancies;

  • Preparation of the company’s budget

  • Identify financial gaps between forecasts/budgets and actuals, assist in providing explanations;

  • Fulfilling financial reporting activities - monthly reporting;

  • Developing financial controls and guidelines, documenting processes to strengthen internal controls;

  • Management of finance procedures and follow-up;

  • Ensure fiscal compliance regarding financial expenses by following the Romanian Law Legislation;

  • Proactive identification of risks, opportunities & involved in resolving operational issues;

  • Provides ad-hoc analysis and reports as required by the Management;

Required skills and profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics);
  • +5 years of experience in a similar position, with accounting background;
  • Willingness to discover complex topics, dynamic, positive, proactive;
  • Able to work in a multi-tasking environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Language: fluent English skills are mandatory;
  • International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • VAT, tax and statutory regulatory filings.
  • CECCAR, ACCA certifications are an advantage
  • Finance Application experience (e.g.: Hyperion Financial Management)
