Job description

About Lume and Mando

Founded in 2017, Lume is a transformative personal care brand on a mission to normalize body odor beyond pits and provide people with outrageously effective solutions so they don’t have to think twice about odor. We are pioneers of the whole body deodorant category, with a portfolio of odor-blocking products including anti-perspirants, aluminum-free deodorants, body washes, body creams, cleansing bars and laundry sprays. Lume products are OB/GYN developed, made with skin-safe ingredients that are gentle enough for the most sensitive parts and often referred to as “life-changing” by our customers. In late 2022, we launched a men’s line called Mando, bringing our expertise to the men’s personal care category. From whole body deodorants to body washes, our product offerings arm men with the confidence to show up as their best selves as they move about their busy day.

Lume and Mando is part of Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind category-leading brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, and Mando. Driven by a mission to “Create Things People Like More,”  the company is creating a new model—and home—for brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives and ultimately change the status quo. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. Mammoth Brands is committed to making a positive impact and donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date.

About the Role

Lume is seeking a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to lead and scale up our digital performance efforts.  In this role, you will own the strategy for digital acquisition channels, develop the vision and roadmap to drive profitable growth, and leverage analytics to inform your execution plans.  You will lead a team of marketers and work cross-functionally to identify and unlock new growth opportunities.

Important: This is a hands-on role! In this role, you'll be expected to be both an inspiring people manager that leads a high-performing digital team, as well as a talented individual contributor that creates and executes advertising strategies and goes deep into the weeds of digital programs.

What you will accomplish:

Strategic Leadership

  • Own and evolve the overarching digital marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention across all channels.
  • Lead planning and execution of full-funnel campaigns, setting budgets, KPIs, and OKRs across digital platforms.
  • Be the strategic brain behind our DTC deal strategy, determining positioning, offer cadence, and promotion sequencing.
  • Develop long-term performance roadmaps in collaboration with Creative, Brand, and Product teams.

Team Management & Development

  • Manage and mentor a team of channel managers who own: TikTok Shops, Meta, and Google (Search, Shopping, YouTube, etc.)
  • Serve as a player-coach: unblock and guide team members, while providing autonomy and developmental opportunities.
  • Set clear goals and provide regular coaching, feedback, and support.

Channel Ownership & Execution

  • Personally lead and oversee strategy for Meta, driving performance and improving efficiency and scale.
  • Drive landing page strategy, optimizing for conversion and collaboration with Product and CRO partners.
  • Guide tactical execution and troubleshoot issues across channels, especially in fast-moving or untested areas.
  • Design and run structured experiments to test new platforms or approaches.

This should describe you:

  • 5+ years in Performance Marketing roles at high-growth, DTC-driven organizations
  • Strong understanding of the Growth landscape, with expertise in at least 2 of: Display, Facebook, TikTok, Search, and YouTube.
  • Experience managing teams with a track record of helping them grow in their roles
  • Experience setting growth goals, managing a budget, building forecasts, and delivering against monthly CPA, LTV, conversion targets
  • Highly analytical, with a proven ability to mine data for opportunities and actionable insights that are not readily apparent.
  • A strong communicator and effective cross-functional collaborator
  • Enterprising “doer,” with an ownership mentality and a bias towards action, constantly hustling and taking initiative to drive improvements yourself.
  • Strategic, can get inside the mind of the customer, and translate quantitative and qualitative data and insights into intelligent marketing strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of ad and website performance reporting and analytics platforms, such as Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Looker.

Benefits and perks

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k match
  • Equity in Mammoth Brands
  • Flexible time off and working hours
  • Wellness and L&D stipends
  • 4 weeks sabbatical after 5 years, 6 weeks after 10 years, and 8 weeks after 15 years
  • 20 fully paid weeks off for parents who give birth, or 16 fully paid weeks off for all other paths to parenthood
  • Fun IRL and virtual events including happy hours, team building events, and parties on our rooftop
  • Free products from all of our brands

We can’t quantify all of the intangible things we think you’ll love about working at Harry’s Inc, like the exciting challenges we tackle, the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The final compensation offer will ultimately be based on several considerations, such as the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
