Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Design Technology., At least 7 years of experience in project or program management., Minimum 2 years of experience managing direct reports, including hiring and performance management., Experience in hospital or healthcare renovation projects is preferred..

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning of hospital renovation projects, including scope and design development.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement and user group planning processes.
  • Manage project portfolio resources, risks, and challenges to ensure project progression.
  • Supervise and develop a team of Project Managers and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Summary

As an integral member of the Planning team and under the direction of the Director, Planning, the MANAGER PROJECT PLANNING takes a leadership role in the management, organization and orchestration of all aspects of planning for a portfolio of hospital renovation projects. The successful candidate will lead a team of Project Managers and work closely with the FMPRO Leadership, UHN Executive Project Sponsors and Staff to understand and plan for Capital project initiatives.
