A Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects.The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to perform and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly.The Senior QA Engineer will also provide guidance and mentorship to QA Engineers and Jr QA Engineers.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • More than 5 years of relevant QA technical experience using automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in testing Microsoft-centric solutions, including .NET framework, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with UI testing and familiarity with front-end testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience with Agile/Kanban development methodologies and Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in Rest API testing, with the ability to conduct functional, automated, and performance testing.
  • Experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels of management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft testing tools
  • Hands-on experience in testing in Microsoft-centric solutions including SQL Server
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Test Manager
  • Agile/Kanban Development Methodologies
  • Azure DevOps experience

Job duties:

  • Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
  • Document software defects using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
  • Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screens, or content.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
  • Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
  • Install, maintain, or use software testing programs.
  • Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
  • Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.
