You will own our AWS-based Device Management & Analytics Platform and drive the integration of Mobile Device Management (MDM), Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our global network of channel partners, service providers, and end customers can deploy, monitor, and manage purpose-built mobile and IoT devices across complex enterprise environments.
This position requires a strong systems thinker with deep experience in device management platforms, APIs, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, user experience, marketing, sales, services, finance and legal, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Device & Fleet Management Platform Ownership
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for our device and fleet management platform, with a focus on AWS-based services and integrated third- party MDM, EMM, and UEM solutions.
- Define and deliver capabilities that support zero-touch provisioning, remote configuration, policy enforcement, firmware management, real-time telemetry, and lifecycle analytics.
- Drive features that empower end customers to securely manage distributed fleets of mobile devices and connected IoT endpoints.
- Prioritize platform extensibility, scalability, and automation across a growing ecosystem of device types, operating systems, and use cases for the purpose of device fleet management.
API-First Architecture & Integration
- Define and manage APIs to enable seamless integration with internal tools, partner platforms, and enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle).
- Collaborate with engineering to both consume third-party APIs and develop robust internal API libraries that support extensibility and self-service operations.
- Ensure developer-friendly documentation and developer tools for internal and partner use.
Analytics, Monitoring & Operational Insights
- Lead the development of analytics capabilities for device health, usage trends, alerting, and predictive maintenance.
- Define key telemetry and diagnostics metrics across hardware and software components.
- Enable proactive operational decision-making and reporting through dashboards and alerting systems.
Services & Lifecycle Support Alignment
- Collaborate with Services and Support teams to ensure product capabilities align with real-world deployment, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management needs.
- Identify pain points from field operations to inform roadmap priorities and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience in mobile device management, IoT platforms, B2B SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Deep understanding of MDM, EMM, and UEM platforms, including architecture, policy management, and integration strategies.
- Proven experience delivering device management, remote provisioning, and monitoring solutions at scale.
- Strong background in API design and integration—both as a consumer and contributor to API libraries is a strong plus.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), edge-connected devices, and real-time telemetry.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams including engineering, QA engineering, user experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT ecosystems, embedded systems, or edge-compute architectures.
- Exposure to channel-driven environments (VARs, MSPs, OEMs) and their operational needs.
- Understanding of partner lifecycle management tools, device provisioning platforms, or SIM/eSIM provisioning systems.
- Experience in healthcare, industrial, or ruggedized mobile device verticals.
- Knowledge of agent-based AI, generative AI, or recommendation systems for proactive device management.
