Role Overview: 
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement engaging learning experiences that drive performance and knowledge retention. The main purpose of this position is to help our customers make a smooth conversion to the ON24 products by providing written and self-paced learning content to support the process. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and stakeholders to create effective instructional materials across various formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), written documentation, and blended learning solutions. This role is part time with up to 20 hours per week of work.
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Analyze learning needs and performance gaps to design targeted instructional solutions. 
  • Develop engaging and interactive learning content using authoring tools (e.g. Camtasia, Skilljar, Zendesk). 
  • Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. 
  • Continuously improve learning experiences based on learner feedback and data analysis. 
  
Skills & Experience:  
  • Experience with video editing, graphic design, or animation tools. 
  • Background in corporate training, technical education, or compliance training. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows workstations, especially Microsoft O365 (Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook) 
  •  Proficient with Camtasia or similar products 
  •  Working knowledge of content management systems 
  •  Excellent writing and editing skills 
  •  The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently 
  •  The ability to work independently

The base pay range for this position is $30-$35 per hour.  This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
