We’re hiring an AU RTO Instructional Designer (WFH) who gets excited about transforming complex requirements into engaging, compliant, learner-friendly content.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with trainers, compliance leaders, and tech teams to create accredited training content that’s interactive, compliant, and impactful. This is a fully remote role—perfect for someone who thrives in a quiet, focused environment and loves working behind the scenes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design and update RTO training materials in line with national standards.
Collaborate with trainers and assessors to improve delivery.
Propose and test learning tech (e.g., Articulate, Moodle, Rise).
Map curriculum to unit and training package outcomes.
Support internal staff learning programs.
Requirements
About YOU
You’re a problem-solver, a perfectionist (in the best way), and deeply curious about how people learn.
You can juggle compliance, creativity, and deadlines—and somehow make it all work.
About YOUR Work History
2–3+ years in resource or instructional design (RTO/VET space preferred).
Hands-on experience with eLearning tools like Moodle, Articulate, or Rise.
Background in education, instructional design, or training development.
Bonus points if you’ve worked with Certificate IV TAE or understand ASQA standards.
