IMG’s digital team provides Consultancy and Agency services to accelerate the digital performance of the biggest names in sport. We create and execute strategy, produce engaging content, improve the use of social media and can help you deliver against your wider business objectives. We build teams and select the best technology partners to improve the way digital is used to engage and inspire fans, build brand profile and generate revenue.

IMG is looking for an Account Manager to work across the day-to-day social media, digital content and digital marketing on behalf of our clients.

You will also be a part of IMG’s wider team, growing your expertise as a digital practitioner in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Supporting clients with planning and implementing social media and marketing campaigns
  • Briefing and managing social media community managers in multiple markets
  • Managing content production including working with graphic designers and video editors
  • Social media content planning, including KPI tracking and reporting
  • Audience and market research (primarily desk research using sources provided by the company)
  • Resource planning, project management and milestone tracking
  • Writing reports for delivery to clients, including social media performance and insights
  • Understanding the latest digital trends, and reporting this back to the wider team

Knowledge and Experience       

  • Experience working across social and digital media with a perspective on the impacts of all leading Western platforms
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and how to get the most impact from them (e.g. personal podcasts, blogs, social media channels, websites and apps, content production or commercial)
  • Understanding of social media and its uses, with an appreciation of marketing, audience segmentation, profiling and content targeting
  • Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders across disciplines
  • Experience of content planning, production, and publishing
  • Experience of delivering large-scale social media campaigns from ideation through to execution
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including strong presentation skills
  • Organised, calm under pressure and an ability to meet fixed deadlines (both internal and client)

Desirable

  • Experience using digital analytics platforms (Google, Facebook, Twitter) and providing actionable insight from them
  • Knowledge of photo / graphics programmes (e.g. Photoshop) and video editing (eg Premiere)
  • Experience working in international markets (e.g. Europe, LATAM, MENA etc.)
  • Fluent written and spoken languages (in addition) to English a bonus but not essential

Skills and Abilities

  • A proactive approach to generating ideas, campaigns and delivering against the social media strategy
  • Excellent client facing skills or experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders within an organisation
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage budgets and attention to detail
  • Strong initiative and willingness to be flexible in approach to achieve desired outcomes
  • Skills in graphic design and video programs such as Premiere and Photoshop are desirable

Working Conditions

  • This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
