Role Summary/Purpose:
Come Join the PayPal Client team and partner with the global leader in digital commerce! In this role you will work closely with the business and client to provide project/initiative leadership and oversight for key cross-functional growth initiatives.
The Strategic Initiative Manager will interface with Client to identify and manage key projects for the portfolio as well as support cross-portfolio communications and operating rhythm. In this role you will work across the portfolio supporting the Strategic Initiative team on portfolio strategic initiatives and will have the opportunity to work with the General Managers of the portfolio (both PayPal and Venmo), cross functional portfolio leadership team and the client.

Essential Responsibilities:
Deliver key client cross-functional growth initiatives for new and existing PayPal/Venmo account holders.
Partner with PayPal and Venmo to identify and deliver friction-less customer experience enhancements
Support cross-portfolio communications and operating rhythm
Lead development of standard project management processes and tools for the Strategic Initiative team
Partner with cross functional portfolio leadership to facilitate client and internal planning updates
Own client driven escalations to resolution and identify gaps to minimize future occurrences.
Ability to balance multiple business and client initiatives: prioritize time and resources effectively.
Ability to work cross functionally to support portfolio initiatives that advance credit penetration in PayPal’s ecosystem.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school equivalent 7+ years of work experience in the Financial Services field
Minimum of 3 years' project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
Minimum of 2 years of client management experience or retail card experience
Desired Characteristics:

Excellent PC proficiency (MS Office Suite) emphasis on Power Point, Excel and SharePoint
Knowledge of Smart Sheet software a plus
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
