Telespazio Belgium can count on almost 40 years of experience in the field of Space Operations Service & Engineering activities.

On behalf of the European Space Agency, we are looking for A highly skilled Navigation System Engineer to work in ESTEC, in the Netherlands.

What is expected from you:

  • Interface with ESA and other contractor companies for technical matters.
  • Systems Requirement Engineering: Analysis of Stakeholder needs, Capabilities Definition and Requirements Generation.
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to new and unforeseen situations in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Elaboration of technical and contractual documentation (DCN/DCP, RFW/RFD, DDF, DJF, IRDs, etc).
  • Plan and follow tasks in a structured and pre-agreed manner with managers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of MBSE tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of requirement management tools (IBM DOORs).
  • To lead working groups for the development of groundbreaking technologies.

What you offer:

  • Master’s degree in telecommunications, aerospace or other related engineering and science disciplines.
  • Knowledge and experience in GNSS Systems and signals, Galileo experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols and technologies.
  • An Scaled Agile certification is a plus.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in ESA projects, experience in writing and reviewing technical documents.
  • Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management is an asset
  • Proficient in English, speaking other European languages is an asset.

Candidates must be eligible for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration

Where:

You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
