Journee is seeking a highly experienced freelance Tech Recruiter to support our immediate hiring needs across a wide range of very complex technical roles. This is a contract-based role ideal for someone who’s comfortable jumping in quickly, working independently, and driving hiring processes end-to-end.

We’re building teams in cutting-edge domains including machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and backend systems, and need someone who knows how to find and engage top-tier talent fast.

 

What You'll Do:
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for selected tech roles — from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and supporting final offer stages.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers to align on role requirements, timelines, and search strategy.
  • Proactively source and approach qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
  • Manage multiple pipelines at once and keep stakeholders informed through timely, structured updates.
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience at every stage of the process.

 

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven track record as a top-performing tech recruiter, successfully filling highly complex roles — ideally including Cloud Infrastructure, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, and other niche tech positions — in startups or high-growth tech environments
  • Minimum of 4+ years of recent work experience dedicated exclusively to tech recruitment with a focus on sourcing and hiring for highly specialized technical profiles
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Available to work on a freelance/day-rate basis, immediately or on short notice
