About the Role:
The Vendor Management Specialist supports the execution of vendor strategies, manages day-to-day supplier interactions, and ensures vendors are performing in line with contracts and service expectations. This role collaborates with procurement, business units, and support functions to ensure vendor compliance, quality, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs; assist in analyzing trends and addressing issues.
Coordinate vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Support contract renewals, amendments, and issue resolution in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
Maintain accurate vendor records and support reporting activities (e.g., spend analysis, risk reports).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback on vendor services and drive continuous improvement.
Participate in risk assessments and vendor audits; track and follow up on remediation plans.
Assist in identifying opportunities for vendor optimization and innovation.
Vendor Performance Monitoring: Accurately track and report vendor adherence to SLAs and KPIs, escalating issues when necessary.
Operational Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure all vendor documentation, onboarding, and records are complete, current, and compliant with internal policies.
Issue Resolution & Support: Efficiently support contract renewals, disputes, and service issues, contributing to timely resolutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Legal, Finance) to support vendor needs and initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide accurate data and insights to support vendor performance reviews, risk assessments, and optimization efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
3β5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement operations, or a related discipline.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with vendor management tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa).
Basic understanding of contracts, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
Fluent English, fluency in additional European languages is a big plus.
