Position Summary

Reporting to the Global Benefits Leader of Rimini Street, the Global Benefits Analyst will be responsible for administering comprehensive benefits programs and ensuring compliance with benefit regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of US benefits, ability to work independently with solid analytical skills and to communicate effectively with employees and management.  This is a remote position with preference for the Midwest and Northeast, however, if you are located within 50 miles of one of Rimini’s Corporate Offices then this position allows for Hybrid Work Option

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as plan administrator for all US benefits programs, audits and filing requirements including primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure optimal service delivery for all benefits activities, including delivery of open enrollment.
  • Own the leave of absence and workers compensation administration process, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA and state-specific leave governances.  
  • Conduct regular audits and verify invoices; coordinate with insurance broker to resolve any escalated issues for US and international benefits.
  • Serve as a champion for change, identifying opportunities for organizational enhancements in all areas of benefit administration and communication.  
  • Create and maintain process documentation for all benefit-related workflows.
  • Assist with the implementing of US and international benefit plans and programs collaborating with Legal staff to ensure company compliance.
  • Research and prepare ad hoc reports, compile metrics for analysis and assist with financial reporting. 
  • Support and assist the Total Rewards team in meeting project-based requirements in the development, administration and implementation of Total Rewards initiatives and projects.

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience

Location

  • Remote - Midwest or Northeast

Experience

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated US benefits experience.  International benefits experience across multiple countries (EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Canada) preferred.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements for US and global benefits programs/plans and Leave of Absence.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS system preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires working on multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong customer service, presentation and exceptional organizational with attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
  • Ability to interface with all levels internally and externally.

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 64k - 96k depending on skills and experience.
