About this opportunity:

We’re looking for a software engineer with Python/Go expertise to improve our API Abuse prevention. This product provides comprehensive real-time protection against detrimental automated behaviors, including malicious bots, account takeover (ATO), credential stuffing, application layer (L7) DDoS attacks, and more.

Tech stack for this position: Python, Go, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker.

Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Utilize your Python (70%) and Go expertise to design, implement, and maintain new features and enhancements within our software applications.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members and cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, QA) to gather requirements, share knowledge, provide high-quality code reviews and ensure project success.

  • Ownership & Quality: Take full ownership of the product components and its codebase—from development to production. You should be comfortable being the technical authority for your components and ready to support them in production, including participating in on-call rotations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, proactive thinking, and a commitment to reliability and long-term quality.
