What success looks like in this role:
High-Level Description: Position will be a Subject Matter expert on Windows 10/11 SOE lifecycle management. Encompassing SOE Image build and Operating System and application deployment methodologies with hands on experience on creation & update / Refresh gold images along with hardware evaluation / integration is required.
Develop / update Task sequence and knowledge on various deployment methods. Proficient knowledge on software / patch deployments required. 3+ years of experience in SOE engineering and modern device management – Australian Citizen with minimum Baseline (clarify if NV1for privilege access) clearance.

SOE Solution Design, Implementation and Maintenance
Application Packaging and release management
Documentation & Skills Transfer:
Application and OS patching and hardening in accordance with client's Security practice.
Familiarity with common Modern workplace and Hybrid infrastructure components and technologies and how they relate to your area of Subject Matter Expertise and in the cross functional team context.
Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams, client and other vendor teams in SIEM type engagement
Vendor Engagement Utilize vendor relationships to assist with design, configuration, and remediation activities using industry best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing refinement of technical processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
Industry Trends & Best Practices: Upkeeping with the latest trends and best practices in relevant technologies.
Client Management: Collaborate with the internal and external Project Management teams to manage client expectations effectively.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Participate in the creation of new products and solutions, working as part of a cross-functional team.
Understanding of ITSM/ITIL fundamentals (Incident management/Change Management/Problem Management)
Strong Troubleshooting skills on the OS/application level – experience on system/command line utilities and other necessary troubleshooting tools
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Necessary skills and experience:
Technical:
3+ years of experience in SOE engineering and modern device management
Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, strong understanding M365 stack (Exchange online, Office Suite, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams)
Application whitelisting and end point protection concepts
Microsoft PowerShell and automation experience
MSI, MSIX, and App-V packaging for Windows 10/11
Application patching
Mobile Device Management
Exposure to Service Management tools (Service Now preferred)
Operational:
Experience in mid-to-large-scale enterprises
Experience in Hybrid environments with on-prem and cloud infrastructure
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical detail to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Strong understanding of ITIL fundamentals
Incident management concepts and SLAs
Change & Release management
Strong documentation skills
Ability and willingness to take direction from team Lead, SDM and Client Executives
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to adapt to a changing technical environment
Ability to mentor and coach other members of the team in their area of expertise
Customer-facing presentation and consulting skills
Australian Citizen with Baseline (NV1 is preferred) security clearance
Certifications:
ITIL v4 Foundation (optional)
Certification on Configuration Manager/Intune are desirable
