Training and Development Consultant - Pooling | Police Liability | Remote in CA | TravelFind the support you need to achieve your goals while building a fulfilling career as a Training and Development Consultant for our Pooling division.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To consult Sedgwick Pooling clients in assessing, developing, and delivering training and creation of associated material to mitigate law enforcement liability risks and exposures. To tailor materials and training based on clients’ needs and goals.
ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE? We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative project manager and training specialist with direct experience in law enforcement and risk management. Expertise in use-of-force law and de-escalation training is highly preferred. A degree in criminal justice is a plus. Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time. This role is open to a remote setting within California.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of two (2) years training or directly related experience required to include classroom and webinar facilitation. Minimum of two (2) years equivalent knowledge of state and federal employment law is highly preferred.

Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required. Required to carry equipment up to 35 lbs. Able to stand for 8 hours while presenting training material.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $95,000.00 to $120,000.00 USD annual salary. Bonus eligible role. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
