Job Title: Director, Strategy and Operations

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Job Summary:

Impiricus is on a mission to transform how healthcare professionals engage with information, industry, and each other. As a Director of Strategy & Operations, you’ll play a key role in turning that mission into scalable execution. You’ll support high-priority initiatives, own cross-functional projects, and drive operational excellence across our fast-growing organization.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, is deeply analytical, and knows how to turn ideas into impact. You’ll work closely with leadership, product, marketing, sales, and client services to ensure our goals are met efficiently and intelligently.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, goal tracking (OKRs), and quarterly business reviews
  • Design and support cross-functional initiatives, ensuring clear ownership and execution
  • Develop and drive internal project plans and roadmaps for strategic initiatives—owning from kick-off through launch
  • Analyze business performance data to uncover opportunities and present actionable insights
  • Help optimize internal tools, workflows, and reporting structures to improve scalability
  • Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and strategic reviews
  • Work with the Chief of Staff and department heads to ensure alignment across product, GTM, and customer success functions
  • Support financial modeling, budget tracking, and vendor/contract evaluation for operational needs
  • Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence to support long-term planning

 

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting AND in-house experience within a Strategic / Operational role
  • Very strong analytical skills (Excel, data visualization tools required; basic SQL a plus)
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Project management experience; able to juggle multiple high-priority initiatives
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
  • Passion for improving healthcare and supporting physicians through better tech
  • Experience in digital health, healthcare, pharma, or a regulated industry preferred
Bonus Points
  • Previous experience in a Chief of Staff office, BizOps, or Strategic Planning function
  • Previous experience in a Sales or GTM role
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus, but not required
