Job description

Position Purpose: Directs the accessibility team including accessibility assessments and testing, accessibility guidelines and standards, learning and training, design and content consultations, and VPATs,. Direct department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.

  • This role will understand technical and business requirements related to digital accessibility, collaborate with other digital teams to create accessible user-centered solutions leveraging standard guidelines, industry best practices, and data driven decisions to support the continual optimization of product development.
  • Plan and integrate the daily activities of multiple teams, allocating resources within defined budgets.
  • Coordinate the plans and activities of the organization with senior leaders inside and outside IT.
  • Apply technical and process expertise to address challenging technical and business issues.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.

8+ years of diverse IT experience.

Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
 

Pay Range: $145,100.00 - $268,800.00 per year
