Who we are

Team Overview: We are the International arm of the Global Marketing Operations team, which forms part of the wider Global Marketing team. We are responsible for bringing globally-led campaigns, initiatives, ideas and strategies to local markets, collaborating with teams across the marketing function and beyond to ensure local relevancy yet maintain brand consistency. 

What you will do

In this role you will manage the day-to-day translation and localisation of WeightWatchers-owned channel content as delivered by the global Marketing and Product teams. You will also partner with the Integrated Marketing team to support the delivery of any locally-created market-specific content. You will liaise daily with your local Content Producer at Fin to ensure you know what assets are coming down the pipeline and be on point for executing locally.  

You will have knowledge of the WeightWatchers program and a deep understanding of where it shows up across our content channels, and the nuances local to your market. You will own the app content updates for your market, with guidance and direction set by the global Product and Product & Member Marketing teams. You will have an understanding of all WeightWatchers-owned content channels and, in partnership with the relevant Business Owners, will support in the maintenance and ongoing updates to content in these areas. These include, but are not limited to, the guest site, CRM, Paid, Organic Social, and Program-related content.


 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • You will be responsible for the localisation of the app in your market, including:

    • Translation of all Applanga keys

    • Localisation of push notifications, working from the Product & Member Marketing global strategy 

    • What to Eat localisation incl. any content carousel curation/localisation

    • Curation/localisation of Explore tab content, as required

    • Generic app localisation as required

  • You will undertake content sweeps across the app, as briefed, as well as partnering with BOs for sweep support across any other required channels (i.e. website)

  • You will support the localisation of CRM in your market, signing off on translation/localisation of emails prior to deployment, and work with the Fin Production Hub to localise any associated artwork 

  • You will proofread and review Paid Creative assets, including copy for caption and search

  • You will collaborate with your Fin Producer on Organic Social ideation and execution 

  • In markets where GLP1 is live, you will localise required assets in partnership with Fin, as and when needed, and once approved by EU Legal 

  • As required, you will use WINE to manage in-app recipe-related content, and any other reasonable food data requests that are within capabilities. 

  • You will support the global Program + Food team on projects involving nutrition, food, recipe, and program content, specific to your market.

  • You will work within the tools used to maintain content, including Space, Drupal, Applanga, WINE, KM tool et al. 

  • You will execute UAT testing, as briefed by the Product team 

  • You will localise, translate and post FAQs to the relevant platforms 

  • You will support on the delivery of local SEO content 

  • You will own content updates, as briefed by various Business Owners, as we test and innovate across our platforms     

  • You will perform other light channel translation work as and when needed, including the website

Who you are

  • Must speak English. Dutch & Flemish

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Marketing or associated area preferred

  • Excellent translation skills, and an expert understanding of local nuances specific to your market

  • The ability to communicate confidently both orally and in the written word across all levels of the business

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and collaboration skills with an eye for detail

  • Highly collaborative and good at building relationships internally and with agencies

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple moving parts in the same direction

  • Ability to pivot and shift gears quickly

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage complexity

  • Passion for the WeightWatchers brand and its mission; knowledge of the programme is desirable

  • An ability to see the importance of ‘getting it right’ and the impact on our members successful weight loss

  • Have a proven ability to work to deadlines with excellent time management and organizational skills - be able to balance many projects at the same time
