Position: SCM Process & System Expert, EMEA/Asia

Location: Porto, Portugal or any European location, where kp has a site but Portugal would be preferred – Remote Working Model / Flexible Schedule

What You’ll Do:

As the SCM Process & Data Expert for EMEA and Asia,  you will have the primary responsibilities to support the regional and Global SCM control towers for the definition, development, deployment and maintenance of SCM processes and connected technological infrastructure. You will have the full responsibility of process documentation, data monitoring, data analysis and supply chain systems and tools.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support EMEA/Asia PHD sites with creation of analytical instruments, standard-work and process support
  • Increase process automation with technical software solutions
  • Participate to supply chain projects as data and analytical owner. Contribute to the project execution with data-driven evaluations, reports, and summaries
  • Ensure that event/actions tracking process are followed by plants and regularly maintained
  • Support standard work documentation definition and deployment to sites
  • Innovate analytical methodologies introducing statistical control of data for advanced analytics
  • Generate weekly summaries/reports for senior leadership. Maintain comments and explain differences
  • Extend usage of Power BI, Power Apps and dynamic reporting
  • Conceptualize and develop with IT department a supply chain data repository to amplify the analytical capabilities
  • Understand division ERP systems and leverage data to improve the process control.
  • Be data consistency owner and organize processes for regular revision and maintenance

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or management engineering or computer science with strong orientation to supply chain management, business intelligence, process automation and software programming. 
  • Very good English required, German preferrable
  • Competence in algorithm/process definition
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferred SAP) and production planning software
  • Good experience with programming languages and relational databases
  • Strong ability to work and code with: Office 365 - Microsoft Excel VBA , Access and Fabric, Azure SQL Server, Power Suite, Power Apps, Power BI, Power automation
  • Any other programming language is preferable
  • Intermediate industrial supply chain, transportation, and warehousing knowledge and very good analytical skills (Descriptive, Predictive, Prescriptive)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; eager to investigate and seek out solutions
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean operations
  • Attention to detail; ability to analyse data and understand connections
