Job description

Notable is the leading healthcare AI platform for transforming workforce productivity. Health systems, hospitals, and payers use Notable to improve healthcare quality, close gaps in patient care, drive member enrollment, and patient acquisition, retention, and reimbursement, scaling growth without hiring more staff.

We are on a mission to improve the lives of patients, staff, and clinicians - to improve healthcare for humanity. This isn't just a lofty goal - it's something we're achieving every single day. When you join Notable, you become part of a force actively transforming healthcare. Our aim to impact 100 million patients isn't just a number; it's a commitment to creating meaningful change on a massive scale.

Therefore, our culture is purposeful in pursuit of this mission. We believe our culture gives each person the opportunity to do the best work of their lives, work with the best teammates, and have fun achieving great things together.

About Us: We’re a fast-growing, tech-forward company supporting 325–400 internal and external user accounts across employees, contractors, and offshore contributors. We partner with over 50 healthcare customers, many of whom require customized infrastructure and access configurations from SAML configuration to networking access. We value ownership, operational excellence, and a high standard of customer service, both internally and externally.

The Role: We’re hiring an onsite IT Manager to lead and mature our internal IT function. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering and is responsible for delivering secure, scalable IT services across the organization. You’ll manage a lean team, oversee infrastructure and tools, and drive improvements in access, reliability, and support operations.

In addition to internal service delivery, you’ll act as a consultative partner to our internal teams and healthcare customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations across endpoints, networking, identity, and collaboration tools.

  • Own the IT budget, vendor management, and long-term planning for IT systems and staffing.

  • Oversee and participate in support operations, acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues as well as internal service delivery issues.

  • Improve and automate onboarding and access request workflows, especially where customer-specific access constraints (e.g., offshore limitations) apply.

  • Partner with Security Engineering to uphold device trust, compliance, and identity policies.

  • Consult with engineering and customer teams on infrastructure topics such as SAML configuration, DNS setup, IAM design, and secure connectivity.

  • Support customer integrations with enterprise environments including Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix, and site-to-site VPNs.

  • Ensure high-quality IT support for the executive team and critical business functions.

  • Maintain and evolve collaboration and conferencing systems including Logitech, Crestron, Slack, Asana, and Confluence.

Tech Stack:

  • Endpoints: macOS, Windows, Linux

  • Networking: Meraki

  • Collaboration: Google Workspace, Google Meet, OneDrive, Slack, Asana, Confluence

  • Conference Rooms: Logitech, Crestron

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP

  • Infra Tools: GitHub, Terraform

  • Identity & Provisioning: Rippling, DNS, SAML

  • Customer IT Environments: Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix, VPNs

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 4+ years in a leadership or strategic role.

  • Strong technical background with macOS, Windows, networking, and SaaS tool administration.

  • Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and tools like Terraform and GitHub.

  • Comfort working with enterprise IT environments, including Active Directory, Citrix, and VPNs.

  • Skilled communicator who can interface with internal stakeholders and external customer IT teams.

  • Demonstrated success improving IT workflows and scaling support through automation.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Executive presence, attention to detail, and a high degree of customer service.

  • Bonus: Experience in healthcare or other compliance-heavy industries (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).

Why This Role: This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to lead IT at a critical point of growth. You’ll shape internal infrastructure, improve employee experience, and support real-world IT integrations with healthcare organizations. If you’re looking to lead with autonomy, collaborate deeply across functions, and build systems that scale with trust—this role is for you.
