POSITION DESCRIPTION
Currently HGL is seeking an experienced UXO Technical Manager. The successful candidate will serve as HGL’s UXO Technical Manager for Chemical Warfare Material (CWM) with essential duties to include but are not limited to providing technical oversight and management of MMRP and CWM operations; establishing, monitoring, and achieving target field production rates; and assisting in recruiting, hiring, and proactively managing HGL’s CWM projects. The successful candidate will work with Program managers to grow HGL’s CWM portfolio of work. Must have a thorough understanding of regulatory and Army requirements related to the execution of CWM projects including characterization and remediation projects. Must have significant experience with CERCLA and RCRA requirements and how they apply to MMRP and CWM projects. Must remain current on all guidance and regulations associated with CWM work and ensure that technical work plans, operating procedures, and other management documents comply with all requirements. Position requires frequent communication with field personnel and the ability to travel to field sites when conditions require. Responsible for directly assisting management and project managers to maximize customer satisfaction, revenue, profits, and the safe operations on CWM projects within HGL’s MMRP group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with deliverable preparation, proposal support, project site set up and occasional client meetings. This role is a hybrid of field work and back office support of field projects with approximately 30% field work.

The salary range for this position ranges from $118,770-$190,031. This position's final salary can be impacted by various factors including, but not limited to, contractual requirements, geographic location, job-related education, training, experience, and skills.
