Summary:

Under general direction of the Vice President, Technology Solutions, the Sr. Director, Technical Administration is responsible for all technical administration from a project and production support standpoint across all systems that support Cencora Distribution Services, Patient Services, andor Corporate functions that relate to the core area of responsibility in the area of SAP Applications (S4HANA, PO, Fiori, Solution Manager, BTP, LVM, HANA Cockpit, SLT, DSIS, SAP Data IntelligenceDataSphere, Cloud Connector and HANA DB) and 3rd party Applications such as Opentext Exstream and Archive Center, Vertex, Vendavo, Redwood RunMyJobs, Apache Tomcat, NGINXSquid forwardreverse proxy. This role oversees a team that provides primary level 2 and level 3 support for all identified IT applications as well as charged with creating up to date technology roadmaps that help drive future direction of the EITS organization in their area of expertise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment in Architecture, Infrastructure, App deployment and support.

  • Works with internal and external customers to understand business needs.

  • Contributes to the development of an IT strategy. Manages the development and implementation of IT initiatives to support business strategy.

  • Manages delivery and lifecycle of services for business strategy development.

  • Analyzes financial and internal customer analysis, Participates in the development of IT budgets.

  • Seeks opportunities to contribute to positive outcomes for clients, stakeholders, and organizational members.

  • Approaches issues or disagreements with the objective of reaching winwin solutions.

  • Provides input into demand management process.

  • Ensures compliance with enterprise standards, governance processes, and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value to the enterprise.

  • Plans, evaluates, and improves the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.

  • Identifies opportunities for process and service improvements and implements them

  • Ensures efficient customer service to internal clients and external vendors and maintains long term relationship

  • Develops and implements technologies processes to improve the performance of a business process and increase profitability.

  • Ensures internal SLAs are met.

  • Supports an environment of open and upward communication with all staff to ensure positive employee morale, effective conflict resolution and upward flow of creative ideas for the benefit of the Company and its employees.

  • Establishes measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goals.

  • Documents and presents performance assessments.

  • Recognizes and rewards associates commensurate with performance.

  • Implements organizational practices for staffing, EEO, diversity, performance management, career development, training, reward and recognition, and retention.

  • Provides input to the identification and development of potential future leaders.

  • End to End deployment of SAP workloads and other Enterprise solutions in OnPrem and Public clouds such as Azure, Migration of SAP applications from OnPrem to Cloud

  • Will work closely with Platform Engineering, Cloud architects, Cloud engineering, Cloud operations, Automation, Infosec and other infrastructure teams for deployment and support of Cloud resources, troubleshoot and resolve problems.

  • Interface with the Platform Engineering and SAP Basis teams to effectively design and enhance solutions and manage the SAP and 3rd party applications workload.

  • Actively manage the performance of the SAP landscape, including capacity planning and tuning.

  • Interface with the Enterprise Architecture and Infosec teams to follow certain company and industry specific standards.

  • Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of SAP technology.

  • Coordinate with other Basis product leads to ensure software consistency across the SAP landscape.

  • Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validateapproval all SAP related changes.

  • Engage and interface directly with SAP as required for product supportquestions.
